Who you’re hiring
Electric Power Pro Solutions works out of McKeesport and covers Greater Pittsburgh and the Mon Valley. The business is deliberately small: the person who comes out to quote your job is the person who does the work and the person who picks up when you call back.
Most of what we do is panel and service upgrades — which suits the housing stock around here. A lot of homes in the Mon Valley are still on their original service, and plenty are still on fuses. Those houses were built for two circuits and a radio, not for central air, a dryer, a hot tub and an EV in the driveway.
Around that we do the everyday residential work: circuits, devices, lighting, rewires, generators, and the troubleshooting other shops don’t want because it takes time to do properly. Small commercial we take on request, when the scope genuinely fits.

Not every tripping breaker is a panel replacement. If the honest answer is one circuit and a device, that is the answer you get — even though it is the smaller invoice.
Every breaker tagged to its room and its load before the cover goes back on. It costs us twenty minutes and saves the next person hours.
Heavy industrial and large commercial are not what we do. When a job is outside what this shop should take, we say so rather than learn on your building.

Often, but not always. A Level 2 charger is a 40 to 60 amp dedicated circuit. We run a load calculation before quoting, and if the service cannot carry it we will tell you what the upgrade costs rather than overloading what you have.
Greater Pittsburgh and the whole Mon Valley out of our base in McKeesport, reaching ten counties in all — Allegheny, Westmoreland, Washington, Fayette, Armstrong, Indiana, Butler, Beaver, Greene and the corner of Somerset. If you are not sure whether you are in it, just ask.
We are residential first, but we take small commercial jobs on request: storefronts, offices, rentals and small buildings. Larger industrial work is not what we do, and we will say so rather than learn on your building.
